Dubai, 23rd March 2013: Renowned for its home-from-home British dishes and sensational international cuisine, elegant brasserie The Ivy has revealed a seasonal new menu just in time for spring. With a focus on returning classics and crowd-pleasing new additions, the refreshed menu is set to take guests on a moreish trip down memory lane.

Combining traditional tastes and cooking techniques with a fusion twist, the famed restaurant’s new menu offers guests a culinary ticket to nostalgia with returning Hors d'oeuvres favourites including gazpacho with white balsamic and Italian staple parma ham with burrata and poached figs. Alternatively, seafood lovers can opt for something fresh in the form of the unique chargrilled octopus, while vegetarian guests may wish to start with parmesan courgette flowers, a distinctive take on the summer squash, arriving alongside the age-old ingredients of tomato and red onion.

Continue reminiscing with returning main course classics including the finest in-season venison cutlets, which offer traditional British beef flavours with gamey notes. Authentic osso bucco, a Milanese specialty of cross-cut veal shanks with braised vegetables, makes a first-time appearance on the Entrée menu, accompanied by the freshest tomatoes, olives, polenta and gremolata, as does whole baby Arabic chicken served with garlic toum and tabouleh, so guests can now also enjoy the flavours of the region.

Sealed with a chocolate kiss, diners will touch down into an unrivalled selection of desserts such as long-time The Ivy favourite the chocolate crackle bombe, served with sweet orange and sharp sea salt, and the chocolate fondant accompanied with fresh peppermint ice cream. Brand new puddings arrive in the form of the delectable and Italian-inspired Frangelico crème brulee, and rhubarb and elderflower pavlova served with wild strawberries for a true taste of The Ivy’s original hometown.
