March 2014 – U.A.E. based hospitality operator, Caramel Group, has announced further expansion plans for 2014. Following the unprecedented success of Caramel in Dubai, the brand saw the next natural progression for the brand to be in Abu Dhabi. With the success of these locations, Caramel Group is now set to move across the seas to Nairobi, Kenya with a planned opening this June 2014.

As one of the U.A.E.’s upcoming hospitality companies, Caramel Group has proved to be an industry innovator by raising the bar for F&B service standards and customer expectation with their flagship venue Caramel Restaurant & Lounge, which is based at the heart of the Dubai International Financial Centre. Following the Abu Dhabi launch the group is now at the advanced stages of an aggressive expansion strategy that has already seen the launch of more venues regionally, including MO’s in CITYWALK, as well as soon to open international ventures with the group currently exploring opportunities in East Africa. The advancement to East Africa will see the opening of Caramel Restaurant & Lounge - Nairobi in June of this year.

With Kenya having one of the most developed economies of Africa, the Caramel Group saw the evident potential for growth and as a region with strong entrepreneurial traditions it proves to be the perfect investment landscape. Nairobi demonstrates key components as an emerging market, which will result in a sustainable economic growth for the Caramel Group. The Nairobi location will epitomize all key components of exceptional customer service and leading F&B standards seen by the Caramel Group. Located in ABC Place, Caramel Restaurant & Lounge Nairobi will open in June and will reaffirm the Caramel Group as a trendsetter in the hospitality industry both within the UAE and Africa.
