Rivington Grill Launches The Menu of The Season 18 Sep 2013
Dubai, 18th September 2013:
Rivington Grill, located in two of the city’s most renowned dining destinations, Souk Al Bahar and Madinat Jumeirah, has launched its new seasonal menu complete with a number of new dishes as well as some classic favourites back by popular demand.
With ingredients sourced both locally and from the British Isles, the menu is based around timely garden fare such as beetroot, plums & squash bringing both a splash of colour and also amazing flavours to welcome in Dubai’s favourite season.
The starters include great British classics such as Welsh Rarebit with a new twist of ‘buck, king or blushing bunny’ and the much loved roasted scallops have now turned to autumnal flavours with an earthy mix of sunchoke puree, sweet red baby roasted beetroot and Kentish cobb nuts.  The game season makes an appearance on the new menu, with the addition of the country game terrine served with spiced apple and sultana chutney, as well as the smoked duck salad, accompanied by seasonal soused cherries and salsify.
Making a welcome return are our British Isle Oysters which hailing from Cumbrae, West Mersea and even Dorset rock, added to the menu throughout the season.
To tempt seafood lover is the addition of the Cornish Dover sole, smothered in a delicious tomato puree with capers, garlic, anchovies and parsley; a seasonal change now sees the roasted cod served with tender stem broccoli, brown shrimp and lemon.
Meat lovers can indulge in the grilled lamb chops served with sautéed potato and onion
and our blackboard specials will be boasting a new mixed grill of lamb chop, rump steak, lamb sausage, baby chicken, portabella mushroom, roasted tomato and finished with some gentleman’s mayonnaise which is not for the faint hearted.
If your waistline hasn’t already expanded then wait for Rivington’s new dessert selection… for the child at heart there is the tutti-frutti arctic roll, a classic plum brown betty served with a warm pot of custard and the new chocolate 'jaffa' pot oozes warm chocolate and orange alongside a scoop of cookies and cream ice cream, this is just a sweet taste of what the new dessert menu has to offer.
